Cara is wearing a later Victorian costume of approximately 1880. The fitted waistcoat works well with the draping folds of the front silk apron, which sits closely over the two tier pleated silk skirt edged in dove grey lace. Her jacket finishes the look and is completed by attractive cuffs with a tiny rhinestone effect with matches her brooch. The bonnet is made with the same coloured silk as the jacket and lined with a cotton floral print, with contrasting silk ribbon.
